Frequently Asked Questions

Do we need a permit to elope in Grand Teton National Park?

Yes. Grand Teton National Park requires a permit for elopement and wedding ceremonies. Every elopement collection includes help with the permit and with choosing a location, so you know what to apply for and where you can say your vows.

What's included in the $3,800 elopement collection?

Elopement collections start at $3,800 for 3 hours of coverage. They include help with your permit and location, planning for your timeline, and a private online gallery where you can view, download and share your photos.

How much do weddings and engagements cost?

Wedding collections start at $3,800, and most couples invest between $4,600 and $8,500 depending on coverage. Engagement sessions start at $775 and include a 30 minute session at the location of your choice, up to 2 outfits, and 30 images in color and black and white.

Where are you based, and do you travel?

I'm based in Wyoming, in the Jackson Hole and Star Valley area, and I travel for weddings and elopements across Wyoming, Idaho, Montana, Utah and Colorado. Travel fees are based on how far I'm traveling from where you're located. Tell me where you're dreaming of and I'll send you a quote.

How do we book our date?

Reach out through the contact form with your date and location. I'll send a proposal, and your date is reserved once the contract is signed and the retainer is paid. The retainer is 40% of your total, due at booking. The remaining balance is due one month before your wedding, and payment plans are available.

When will we get our photos?

Photos are delivered in a private online gallery. Most galleries take about 6 weeks, and weddings and elopements typically take 8 to 10 weeks.

What happens if it rains?

I love rain in photos, and if you're willing to brave it, so am I. If you'd rather not, I can reschedule and will do my best to work around your schedule and stay flexible with timing. Mountain weather changes fast, so we'll build flexibility into your timeline and pick backup spots together.

Can our family and friends come to our elopement?

Absolutely. Whether it's just the two of you or a few of your closest people, your elopement can look however you want it to. Some park permits and locations limit group size, and I'll help you plan around that.

Can I add a second shooter or an album?

A second shooter is available for $400 per hour. If you're interested in an album, ask when you inquire and I'll include the options in your proposal.

When should we book?

Popular dates and peak seasons fill up early, so reach out as soon as you know your date.
